Hello and Happy Father's Day to all you fathers out there! We baked an orange cake for dad and now we're waiting for it to cool down so we can put chocolate buttercream icing on it. We think it will be yummy. Orange and chocolate taste pretty good together. And most importantly, dad will like it.
We saw Miss Kitty sleeping on the glider today so we barked and barked at her until she swished her tail at us and pranced off. Mom fussed at us for being so rude to Miss Kitty. But mommmm, Princess started it~
Today we heard lots of thunderboomers outside! That loud noise frightens us. It's much louder than the big airplanes that fly over our apartment on their way to landing at the airport. We're not real sure what an airplane is, but mom says that the big airplanes are bringing visitors to Florida. Speaking of visitors, our buddies Christian and Ethan are going to come see us, and they will be on one of those airplanes! We're not sure when they'll do this, but we hope it will be very soon. They are lots of fun to play with. We can go on walks and to the park with them when they get here.
We'd like to say thank you to Aunt Paula for following us on here. It's nice to be followed. If our cousin Sidney had a blog we would follow her. hint, hint, hint. Love you Aunt Paula and Sidney.
Now for our Public Service Announcement: PEOPLE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BEST FOUR LEGGER FRIENDS IN YOUR HOT CAR, even with the window cracked the temperature rises so fast that they could suffer unnessarily and die. You would not sit inside your car without the air conditioner running full blast, please do not expect your dog to suffer through it. Yeh, we know, you're just running into 7-11 for a couple minutes, but, do you know that the temperature in your car can raise to over 130 in just a matter of minutes? Maybe seconds? If you're just running into the store for a minute, leave your a/c running. Better yet, leave your dog at home. Take them with you when you're going to spend time with them, say at the dog park, or at a friends house, or even the Vegetarian's office. They will love you for it.
Hugs,
Slinky & Peanut
