Peanut and Slinky Another Care Free Day

Hello Friends!

Tonight the girls are playing, chasing balls and retrieving their purple rat.  Tonight they are care free.  Actually, every night they're care free.  The only worries that I think they could have would be if Lee and I will take them for a walk and put food and fresh water down for them twice a day.  Of course, there is the natural worry of "why are we getting in the car?"  That would be when it's time to go see the Vegetarian..uh...Veterinarian to us humans, and sometimes when we're going to the dog park.  However, this time we're talking about the Veterinarian.  We finally found a really good and reasonably priced Veterinarian, Dr. Eric Randall.  He's at Hollywood Animal Hospital on Hollywood Boulevard, on the right going East, just past the overpass which is Interstate 95.  The girls seem to like the ladies in the front, and the Vet techs, as well as the Veterinarian himself.  Their prices are reasonable, too.  Now I've not really used them for an Emergency visit, except for once when Peanut had an allergic reaction to her yearly boosters.  We had only been home about an hour and noticed that she was rubbing her face on the doggy beds, the carpet, my jeans and when we looked at her, her nose was swollen.  I called Hollywood Animal Hospital and they said to get her back there right away.  As it turned out she was definitely having that allergic reaction that I mentioned earlier.  She had to have some fluids and a antihistamine shot.  About 45 minutes later she was released to go home.  And guess what....there was no charge!  Amazing!  In the days where you have to pay a quarter to put air in your tires, the Vet did not charge for an emergency visit.

So, if you live in the area and are searching for a good Vet, give Dr. Randall a try.  If you're visiting Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood area and you have your best pal with you and they are in need of a doctor, give them a try.

We hope that you had a care free day today just like we did.  Thanks for stopping in.
